Free Standard Ground Shipping
Select items, as marked, are eligible for free standard ground shipping (herein referred to as 'free shipping') via UPS only to the 48 contiguous United States; excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. No promo code is required to receive free shipping. Simply add product(s) with free shipping to cart and select UPS Ground at checkout. If all items in your cart are eligible for free shipping, UPS Ground will return a rate of $0.00.
Orders With Eligible & Ineligible Items
When your order contains items eligible and ineligible for free shiping, you will only be charged shipping for those ineligible items if the order is shipped via UPS Ground.
Getting The Best Possible Shipping Rate
When your order contains items eligible and ineligible for free shipping, it sometimes helps to split these items into separate orders to get the best possible shipping rates from our website. This often occurs when smaller products without free shipping are added to a cart mixed with products that do have free shipping. For example, let’s say you have the following items in your cart (Fig. A) shipping to Chicago, Illinois, with postal code 60007:
(1) AGORA Corner Flag Set (free shipping eligible)
(1) Replacement Clips Pack (free shipping ineligible)
In this example, our website, like most others, can only generate and return shipping methods that can support shipment for all the products added to the cart. In this case, the only viable method is UPS. The corner flags are too large to ship via USPS, so our website does not return this method. This example shows a rate of $15.97 for UPS Ground for the order. It's important to understand that UPS has a different mininum shipping fee, which is higher compared to USPS, which deals with smaller parcels. Sator Soccer does not set these rates.
Now, if you were to split the order, separating eligible and ineligible items, you receive the following shipping rates for each:
Order #1: (1) AGORA Corner Flag Set
Shipping Rate: $0.00 via UPS Ground
Order #2: (1) Replacement Clips Pack (Fig. B)
Shipping Rate: $4.77 via USPS Ground Advantage
In this example, when splitting your order into two, your total shipping cost is $4.77 (for Order #2), equaling a total savings over $11 (70%) when compared to the original example order that contained both the AGORA Pro Line Corner Flags Set and Replacement Net Clips Pack.
As a final note, it's also imporatant to understand that product shipping rates are determined by USPS, UPS, and the like based on several factors, including weight, dimensions, distance/zone, time of year, and more. To reiterate, Sator Soccer does not set these rates.
